  Great church if you like to hear the truth from Gods word. Some people don't like conviction and don't like to hear the truth. Pastor Joe teaches from the word of God verse by verse. He has a true genuine heart for the Lord and let's God speak thru him to the congregation.
  He also tells it like it is and is not a people pleaser but a God pleaser.

  VERY VERY DANGEROUS PLACE.
  
  This is not currently safe place. All the leadership recently left. The board, the pastors and ministry leaders (except a few and they are not safe either). When your church loses all it's leadership overnight because of the incoming former Sr. pastor. You should wonder why, and seek answers.
  
  A friend of mine daughter has been instructed to leave her parents because according to the Sr. Pastor and other leaders at the church, they are in sin. Their sin? They left the church quietly.
  
  My own family has experienced this in numerous occasions to the point the Sr. Pastor and his associates told me if I won't raise my kids they will. My kids are and were serving in many areas of cmv and other churches and mission fields. He SR. Pastor told me my sons suicide was my fault, he doesn't even know that son.

  My family and I have gone to Calvary Mountain View church for nine years. We know Pastor Joe McCormick very well. He is a good, decent, honest, godly man. It is Gods will that Pastor Joe McCormick is the pastor of our church. Joe McCormick is spirit filled and his teachings are spirit lead. Thousands of people have been led to Christ through his teachings. If you're looking for a good Bible-based church, come to CMV.

  Pastor Joe is incredible, down to earth, and gives such powerful sermons tbat youcan relate to.

  My experience has been awesome here. There has been recent tension in the church but was happy to hear Pastor Joe had returned to teaching. He has been the best teacher of the Word I've seen. I will have to completely disagree with the 1 starred unsafe comment; There are churches out there that you should be more cautious with. (2 Timothy 4:3) I believe this church is blessed with Joe as our Pastor and God lighting the path. Nobody is perfect but the Pastor here is a Gem that should be treasured.
